Question by nipunmaster: how to generate electricity from a small motor that is used in toy cars?
I want to build a small dam for a science fair but I am not getting the turbine for generating electricity. But I am having a small motor that is used in electric toy cars. Just tell me how to generate electricity from it by connecting it to a home-made turbine?

Answer by Mandél MConnect the rotating part of the motor to a parallel coil of wire and put the coil between the poles of a horse shoe shaped magnet and allow the motor to spin. an emf (current) should be induced on the coil provided the coil forms part of a complete circuit.
